Meet the Vision Behind Lux218
Lily Bell is the owner and lead designer of Lux218 Kitchen, Bath & Lighting Designs in Danville, Kentucky. Before launching Lux218, she spent years in medical sales—a career she valued, but one that eventually sparked a desire to create something more hands-on and personal. About five years ago, Lily began purchasing properties, renovating them, and building a small rental portfolio, where she quickly discovered how much she was drawn to elevated details like freestanding tubs, statement lighting, and custom cabinetry.
As she worked on more properties, Lily kept hearing the same reaction from neighbors, contractors, and visitors: they loved the higher-end finishes she was using but assumed they were out of reach. That feedback became the inspiration behind Lux218—a showroom where homeowners could experience luxury kitchen and bath products without the limitations or pricing often associated with larger markets. The goal was simple: offer curated finishes, personalized guidance, and a team capable of helping bring those selections into the finished space.
Lily opened Lux218 in Danville with the belief that beautiful, well-designed spaces should feel attainable and personal. Today, the showroom serves homeowners, builders, and designers throughout Central Kentucky, including Lexington, Nicholasville, Versailles, Lawrenceburg, Frankfort, and surrounding communities. Every project, whether large or small, is approached with the same attention Lily would give to a home of her own.
Today, Lily personally guides clients through cabinetry, countertops, plumbing, lighting, layouts, and finish selections while staying involved through installation. Her design style leans modern and transitional—refined and current, yet warm, livable, and thoughtfully suited to everyday life.
